It is not only my dear nest, at a lot of nests near and far the youngsters are gone, in the south of Germany

After the adult storks have removed the last dead young this morning, they begin to mate again. But I don't think there will be a 2nd brood. I haven't found any studies in this regard..

Hello dear friends, in the south of Germany all white stork chicks are currently dying. It's cold and it's raining. A terrible year !! In the nest where I live near by all 4 hatched young storks died due to hypothermia and pneumonia. The last around noon today. It's terrible, i feel so sad :cry: :cry:
