Post by karolparkitny »

Monitoring of 20 nests Ciconia nigra in Świętokrzyskie Province

Together with Krzysztof Dudzik and Paweł Nowak in cooperation with Eagle Conservation Committee and BocianiMy project, for sezon 2024, were prepared monitoring of 20 nests Ciconia nigra in Świętokrzyskie Province (Holy Cross Province). Most part of monitoring devices not allow to transfer live data, but seven of those offer MMS via e-mail review picture send function. I will publish update according to new messages received that way.

Currently received news is 3x confirmed bird presence on nest Ruszcza:

Hello! I'm very sorry due to lack of news from my side, currently I'm on Akcja Bałtycka on Hel peninsula. But according to news coming from nests:

- Kaczka: two birds present on nest at night and day;
- Ruszcza: two birds present on nest at night and day;
- Chrustowice: single bird on nest at night and day - ring visible on one pic, now unreadable;
- Rzemienowice: two birds present on nest at day;
- Szczeka: single bird on nest at night and day - ring visible on one pic, now unreadable;

I will add missing pictures from devices after return to home/office after 14 April.

Happy Ester for All!
