At last, Kerli found the fish baskets again and started fishing. The reconstruction of the ditches in the area is not yet finished and there is still a lot of disturbance, but fortunately now there are more and more fish baskets, so it’s possible to choose where to go.

This year, there are 3 chicks. They’re already quite big — bigger than the ones at Kergu’s nest. Their wing lengths are 350–365 mm. They’ve been ringed. They’re eating frogs, just like in Tootsi. A trail camera that sends images was installed at the nest, so there's a chance we might see them — and possibly even the adult birds.
