06:26:56 out of breath Tootsi lands in the nest.
06:27:30 Iksi flies from the observation tower (broken bough) to the branch growing across the nest
06:30:01 Vihm slipps down but it didn't fall, you can hear the flapping of wings a moment later - so it made the maiden flight 06:30:07 flapping of the wings can be heard, and than at 06:30:11 landing on the forest floor.

Tina, it is very rarely view. Our Iksi (Little-X) is really special bird.

The nest is already a bit damaged after the season, mainly because of all the rainy days. (Because it’s been wet for so long, the sticks aren’t holding together well and tend to slide down.)
Just a reminder – what we see on the screen can look different from how it really is, since the camera can sometimes distort the view.

NAMING: 719T - Tootsi (Big- 1st chick) / 719V - Vihm (Middle - 2nd) / 719X - Iksi (Little - 3rd)

AGE: 1st chick - 76 days old; 2nd chick - 75 days; 3rd chick - 73 days old
4th egg did not hatch

The chicks become capable of flight at the age of 68–72 days (maiden flight). Starting a flight depend on more factors.
MAIDEN FLIGHT: 1st chick/Tootsie - 04.08/72 days old; 3rd chick/Iksi - 05.08/71 days old
