Estimados/as responsables del Parque Natural del Tajo Internacional:
Con tristeza y preocupación observamos ayer a un nadador y una embarcación con dos personas bajo el nido que está siendo transmitido en directo. Lamentablemente, el único polluelo de este año no ha vuelto a aparecer en el nido desde su segundo vuelo tardío por la noche (08.07). Sin embargo, el macho sigue visitando el nido casi a diario, e incluso la hembra ha sido vista de nuevo en él.
Este tipo de comportamiento podría, en mi opinión y según información de la literatura especializada, tener un impacto negativo en la nidificación de las cigüeñas negras.
Entendemos que proteger estas especies sensibles es una responsabilidad compartida, por lo que agradeceríamos mucho si se pudieran considerar medidas que ayuden a minimizar las posibles molestias durante la temporada de cría. Cualquier acción preventiva, como informar a los visitantes o reforzar la vigilancia en las zonas sensibles, sería de gran ayuda.

With sadness and concern, we observed yesterday a swimmer and a boat with two people under the nest, which is being broadcast live. Sadly, this year's only chick has not reappeared at the nest since its second flight late that evening (08.07). However, the male continues to visit the nest almost daily, and even the female has been seen there again.
This type of behaviour could, in my opinion and based on information from the specialised literature, have a negative impact on the nesting of black storks.
We understand that protecting these sensitive species is a shared responsibility, so we would greatly appreciate if measures could be considered to help minimise potential disturbances during the breeding season. Any preventative measures, such as informing visitors or strengthening surveillance in sensitive areas, would be greatly helpful.
