Krum moved away from Belozem on 09.12.2025 and arrived after 40 days back on 17.01

- Krum surprised me again today. After returning to the Belozem area, he immediately turned around and was back at the "Chirpan" reservoir by noon.
- Krum ma dnes opäť prekvapil. Po návrate do oblasti Belozemu sa vzápätí otočil a už na poludnie bol späť pri rezervoári "Chirpan".

On the territory of Chirpan Municipality is located the Chirpanska Koriya Protected Area - an old oak forest in the land of the town of Chirpan, area 58 ha, located in the "Yagach" area.
It was initially declared a natural landmark with Order No. 3384/8.12.1966, but on 18.09.2002 it was re-categorized into a protected area with Order No. RD - 850 of the Ministry of Environment and Water. It protects a centuries-old oak forest /summer oak/летен дъб*/. The management plan for the "Chirpanska Koriya" Protected Area has also been adopted.
