Egg 4: Laid 07 April - unhatched

Stork chicks grow exponentially. 90 days in the nest is like 18-21 years for humans. This means that 1 day in the nest is like almost 3 months for a human child. That is why their transformation is so amazing and fast.

Nest Activity Log 28/06/2026

08:29 – The nestlings are seen walking around the nest, searching the floor for leftovers.

1/ 09:54 – Feeding by the male Natalio.

11:09:49 – An intruder flyby occurs. A large bird passes close to the nest; the nestlings become visibly tense and display defensive bill-clattering. (Chat observers later identified the intruder as a vulture, possibly an Egyptian vulture).

2/ 14:09 – Feeding by the male Natalio.

14:50 – Two of the nestlings engage in bill-locking behaviour (playing/interacting).

3/ 15:03 – Feeding by the female Zica (after circling over the nest for a short while, casting shadows).

17:24:40 chirping starts - ​​17:26:23 waiting on the food delivery (circle, wing flapping) - no body arrived
