EEDI, adult male from Karula NP

Eedi is male Black Stork (white ring with black code 712W on left leg). His foraging sites and breeding site are situated in southern Estonia, close to Latvian border, in Karula National Park. We follow him from 2015. His wintering area is not common - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Asir Province.

Eedi is in the area of the Gauja river, NE from Valga. Localisations are in the border area (LV- EE).

18.08.2022, Distance: 614 km (+ 98 km/4 days)
Lejas Zemītes - settlement in Taurene Parish - administrative unit of Cēsis Municipality in the Vidzeme region of Latvia
Land use consists mostly of agriculture, forests and lakes. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taurene_Parish)

Eedi already moved to the south, but from Latvia he turned back and now the newest localisations are to the south from the border.
