I received info about Kaia.

Kaia is situated about 10 km W (west) from the nest. She searches food from a brook and walks back and forth in a section about 300 m and sleeps on a nearby tree.

Kaia is preserving her energy by not making long flights and it seems that she is able to find food for herself there.

Have a nice day! :P

Madli, thank you so much for the video you shared, it was so beautiful to watch. I really thought 7192 would've been the first to leave, they seem to always be so full of energy!

This is my third year of watching our beloved black storks, and I've certainly grown quite attached to them (Jan and Janika were so special to me, and always Bonus now, because of his/her family). I really appreciate you and the others taking the time to make the videos, and show the photos, too. They help me to catch up when I am at work and unable to watch.

Also, I'm super new to using the forums, so I will need to adjust, but I am pleased to be here. :)

Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoy my videos. Although I don't have the same time as I did a year ago. Then I was a stay-at-home mom, but now I'm also working + family life takes it's time :) But I try to record all the important events.

We have the same experience- it's also my 3rd year of watching black storks and I totally agree with you- they conquer your heart and stay there forever! I can't imagine my life without them anymore

And again- we all are very happy to have you here in the forum with us!
