The nest remained emty for the night again.

Kergu did not show up - no one mentioned him in the chat until now (2:30 p.m. camera time)

15.59 Kergu arrived.
He greeted his nest and stood on one spot for a long time. He preens himself.



16.50 Kergu pecks the moss and fixes the bedding.
16.51 He lies down.
16.53 Kergu stood up and continued to stand and wait.

17.25 Kergu flew off to the left.

Kergu didn't return for the night.

I guess he embraced the single batchelor life and we will see him less frequently in the nest now...

as always - he is observing the surrounding, moves the nest material, sings time to time, ... and is resting in the sunshine

he moves some moss, changes his position and is observing the surrounding, resting

12.09 preening, pooping and short calling and Kergu works with nest material shortly and continued resting (it is still windy)



arrond 13.01 the wind is hard,moves the moss on the nest and the branch with the camera (the view is moving)
cuckoo in very near the microphone

13.10 Kergu preens his plumage, ruflled the feathers and is working with moss - collects it to the nest bowl and he strengths the nest rim



13.14 pooping, again not much and Kergu continues with rearranging the nest material (moss and some twigs)

13.19 short preening, 13.21 ruffling the feathers and went to the right and at 13.22 Kergu flies away

... it's been very very dry and without rain...when chicks arrive then searching for fish can be difficult. ...

URMAS asked for help - support of fish suppliers (and basket fillers) is needed

Kergu stayed alone, but there are other nest with eggs - chicks in Estonia (and not only in Karula nest, e.g. Timmu is nesting too)
