Re: Bolewice - Skierka and Królewicz/Prince
sorry, for disturbing the time-laps
someone is flying there
someone most probably landed behind the camera - storklets started flapping with their wings and chirping
they are immediately in the feeding circle

Poranny trening skrzydeł boćków na promenadzie / Morning stork wings training on the promenade

Young storks in Bolewice do not waste time and after the first feeding in the morning by the dad Prince (6:57) they intensively train their wings. In this way, they discover their lifting power and strengthen the pectoral muscles, which play a very important role when flying. Because there are a lot of young in the nest (FOUR!) and it is a bit too tight for them, they often go out a few meters to the promenade in the form of a thick slanting branch. It is also often used by adult birds during arrivals and departures to the nest with food.
