yes they are!

By th way, I have a feeling that Kaia often comes near the nest, sitting and observing from somewhere nearby. That's why the chicks react every time they see her. Kaia just doesn't fly to the nest every time.

And about the water voles- Kaia has brought them before. She is quite a good hunter to catch something like that!

19.40 K1 is doing good wing excercise.
I notice that the older chicks ( also Bonus) are already bouncing and trying to jump while flapping. The wings are catching air.

I also think Kaia was around the nest yesterday and today - who knows what she's looking for, maybe just checking.
Wow, for me it was a surprising combination of black stork and vole.

Picture from Urmas on the LK forum. Probably the picture shows Kaia finding a basket of fish  .
That's great news. The chicks will not starve. 8-)

Hello :)

Thanks for the nice pictures and documentation :!:
The young ones are really growing enormously day by day :D
Soon the down feathers will fall into the nest en masse like fluffy snow..

You're welcome Pinki. Yes, our chicks are starting to darken - the white down will serve as nesting material  .

They sleep well together. The adoption of Bonus is successful, there are no problems on the part of the chicks or the adoptive parents :D . Everyone accepts the new situation and has adapted to it. I believe that it will continue in this great way. 8-)
