Waba flew south through Egypt and spent the night west of the city of Shalateen. Shalateen is the largest city in the Halaib Triangle, a disputed territory claimed by both Egypt and Sudan.

Waba continued south and flew over the South Sudanese border. He spent the night in the Radom National Park (marika: away from the park boundaries)
