06.39 Kaia comes! Again, unusually early for her but we can only be happy for that! Karl leaves.
Karl's incubation shift was 14 h 1 min.

08.28 Kaia also has a good PS!

11.07 - 08 The camera operator showed us a nice zoom of Kaia. Very cool!

12.05 New yoga pose- the preening stork

12.13 Kaia becomes very attentitive to something. She listenes and looks around. There are lots of cracks and sounds heard today. Maybe some animal is walking there, or it could be the tree branches breakinbg and falling- it is very windy today!


12.25 Again Kaia looks at something over the nest. She stays in this position for 3 minutes.

13.08 Someone is flying above the nest. Shadows are moving across the trees. Possibly another black stork.


13.12 I think someone landed on a tree nearby, it sounded like that. Kaia looks in that direction.


I'm not sure if the stork is gone or not..

14.56 Kaia again suddenly takes the threatening pose like she suddenly hears something. Luckily she relaxed soon after that and continued with self preening.
