The IBA is situated in the north of North Banat region, along the border with Romania and some 30km from the border with Hungary, within the municipality of Kikinda, Senta, Coka and Kanjiza municipalities. It is composed of four separate entities: Jaros-Jazovo-Valjerka, Kocovat, Crni rit and Siget. The IBA holds the largest complexes of steppe, salt marsh and marshland habitats in Serbia and almost completely free of human infrastructure, making it a uniquely preserved typical Pannonian landscape. The fishpond Jazovo (400 ha) is also included in this area.

V blízkosti Krumovej lokalizácie sa nachádza jedno významné vtáčie územie (IBA):
Toto územie sa nachádza na severe regiónu Severný Banát, pozdĺž hranice s Rumunskom a približne 30 km od hranice s Maďarskom, na území obcí Kikinda, Senta, Coka a Kanjiza. Skladá sa zo štyroch samostatných celkov: Jaroš-Jazovo-Valjerka, Kocovat, Crni rit a Siget. Na území IBA sa nachádzajú najväčšie komplexy stepných, slaniskových a močaristých biotopov v Srbsku a takmer úplne bez ľudskej infraštruktúry, čo z neho robí jedinečne zachovanú typickú panónsku krajinu. Do tohto územia patrí aj rybník Jazovo (400 ha).
At our pond in the village of Jazovo, we breed carp using semi-intensive technology and extruded feed from our own production. The production cycle lasts 2-3 years, in accordance with the local demand for carp of 3-5 kg. Our fish farming technology produces meat with less fat and a balanced taste, which is preferred by consumers.
