19.30 Karl lifts one piece of the egg shell away from the nest bowl. Karl looks at his newly born chick and touches it gently with his bill.


20.09 Karl is already trying to feed the chick- still way too early for that, dear And the piece of the egg shell that Karl tried to remove before is now back in the nest bowl, right on the new chick's back.


The second egg is also activly talking.

20.29 Karl stands up again and the second chick is coming out of the egg too!

21.26 Next time Karl stands up, two little weak bobbleheads are seen


22.16. Two chicks cuddle together. The egg shells are still nearby- Karl hasn't removed them.


22.24 Karl stands up, he aerates the nest and rolls the remaining eggs. The broken egg shells are still in the nest bowl and in fact it seems that the younger chick's head is stuck in one of the shells ( pointed out with an arrow on the image)

22.35 Karl stands, the younger chick manages to get its head out of the egg again!

23.09 Yes, Karl, we won't forget you! You still look beautiful, even in the infrared light And you are going to be an excellent father to these amazing little storklets. We already know that!


23.19 Karl rolls the eggs. The little ones are already getting stronger and wiggly
23.25 Aerating. The chicks are both quite vocal.

dear Madli, I am busy too and I go out for long time, but something:

05.43 and next storklets are begging and Karl II tried several times to regurgitate, but his crop is empty

06.40 Kaia arrived, nothing to see in the bowl
06.41 Kaia regurgitated one small fish (nothing to see in the nest-bowl)

07.27 loud egg talk (2 eggs were already talking yesterday) and PIP is visible
07.42 and next - Karl II: in again and again with new nesting material

08.38 feeding time, it seems both chick ate
