08.47 While Karl brought some moss and walks around the nest, he steps on Kaia's tail. She doesn't like that at all...kaia stands up and scolds Karl for stepping on her!

I really like way the shadows bring out all the feathers. Kaia is a beautiful stork! I'm using a big pic for that

11.02 A great tit flies by. Kaia thought it was too dangerous, she stood up in a defensive pose and clapped her bill a few times
After she assessed the situation and understood that it is not dangerous, she proceeded with her standard preening and egg rolling ritual.

17.37 Karl comes! Kaia doesn't regognize him at first, she tries to make herself small, but as soon as karl lands in the nest, they both greet eachother for a long time. Lots of whistles Karl makes a PS (quite small 
)
Kaia's incubation shift was 9 h 13 min.
