OMG I missed them both !!
It's nice to have guests sometimes, but they should also know when is the right time to leave !

I am actually quite sad that I didn't have the chance to see it all, now I have 6 hours to rewind and look through!

So now I will continue what happened after Karl's arrival. Disturbing the time chronology, but I like to be on track. ( I know, it's already old news for many of you )

Before the first hatch:

17.27 Good progress on the eggs! One is almost completely cracked, the second one has a big hole!



18.27 I can see one head popping up and a hole in the second egg, plus a pip in the 3rd egg!

18.45 The first chick is almost out of the egg, the upper part of the body is out, but when Karl rolls the chick, I can see that its bottom is still attached to the egg. The little one is lifting it's head already

After a gentle nudge and roll, the chick came out of the shell!
