in my opinion it was probably a non-nesting (young) female most probably

finger crossed for the youngest chick! (their lives are often at stake )

17.07 One chick makes PS while standing!

09.21 Kaia is acting weird today..she seems very nervous. The chicks are twitteringand asking for food, #3 is just standing still, no movement.

Disturbing the timeline a little, but I looked again and the reason why #3 is frozen into place is because Kaia grabbed its head a minute ago!

09.20 Kaia offers a tiny piece of soft food, everyone gets a bite.
Then Kaia grabs the head of #3 again!

Karl's nest duty was 4 h 4 min.


18.15 FEEDING (5) A lot of frogs and very small black fish. All eat good! #3 manages to eat a few small frogs, a few tiny fish and even a big frog!
