BIRDMAP OVERVIEW – all Black Storks on the Spring Birdmap 2026

Spring/Summer 2026 – season & distance measurements

The autumn/winter migration ends in mid-February. From 15 February, the spring/summer migration begins, and distance measurements start from this date. Hello everyone :-)

Only 3 BlackStorks are sharing GPS transmitter information at the moment. Things are hectic in the Middle East and we don't know how much migration information we will receive from bird transmitters. But by the end of the month we are still expecting the first Black Storks to arrive in Estonia from migration.
