Hello everyone :-)

CHICKS 🐥
- 1st chick: 37 days old (hatched on 14.06)

EGGS
🥚🥚unhatched (laid on 13.05 at 22:22 and 16.05 at 02:05)

Stork chicks grow exponentially. 90 days in the nest is like 18-21 years for humans. This means that 1 day in the nest is like almost 3 months for a human child. That is why their transformation is so amazing and fast.

Due to continuous heavy rain in the Pärnu region, parent flights were restricted and no feedings were observed while the camera was active.

22:48 – Female Kerli is back (roosting on the watchtower above the nest); the chick is calm and shows a full crop, indicating a feeding took place during the camera outage. (@Moni4eaglesOh, how wonderful, the live stream is on, and I think our little one has a crop too – she’s been fed. Mum or Dad is sitting up there; the little one isn’t alone overnight, which makes me very happy.)
22:52 – The chick flaps its wings.
23:43 – The chick twittering.
